The Design Brief

To begin working with WhiteLight Design we suggest you assemble a "Design Brief", a written document and/or MS, PowerPoint Presentation with supporting text explanation The purpose of a Design Brief is three fold. First, it will support qualifying your broader goals, outlining the aims, objectives and milestones of the prospectus business and plan.  Second it considers the invention, new product development process and intellectual property rights including copyrights, trademark, patent and provisional patent protection with respect to industrial design, engineering, materials, prototyping, manufacturing and branding.  Thirdly, the document will support the Owners, Business Investors and WhiteLight Design to review and evaluate the general feasibility, scope of services and justification for proceeding into development. The WhiteLight Design team will use this document to review, define and provide a quotation for recommended or required services outlining design, engineering and prototype development you need to deliver upon what is requested, as soon as possible.  It is recommended you develop, at least a 2-5 page "Design Brief " document.
