  Engineering Strategic Development Process

     The Mechanical Engineering Strategic Development Process including Electrical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering integration development process is used to define the most acceptable proposed solutions and define a critical path to success.  ME techniques and methodologies for the development of electromechanical engineering development is a technical science.  Project management is essential for mechanical develop which is typically used as the basis for the development program overseeing and managing industrial design and electrical- software, systems integration.  The process defines  meeting and deliverable milestones and key approval stages in order to make sure all team members requirements and request are being considered and implements and to ensure we meet delivery deadlines.  Our process is based on the following basic prioritized steps:

Stage 1.  Development Criteria / Requirements (system-function-user) Discovery & Analysis (OEM component sourcing, competitive analysis - focus testing)  Written Design Brief or Criteria list document with technical specifications - customer requirements. See Engineering - Technical Assessment

Stage 2.  System Schematic Development - Propose mechanical / electrical concepts - primary component / module solutions. Address user interface requirements.  Define logic - and schematic layout  (hardware/software - user interaction),   C hose primary methods of construction, fabrication, materials and production manufacturing processes. Stage
3. 3D CAD Development Develop "Proof of Concept" 3D Development.  Mock-up - prototype test unit (system tests) with revisions or rounds to  achieve objectives and basic operational performance and compliance.

Stage 4Prototype Development Develop "Proof of Concept 3D Development.  Mock-up - prototype test unit (system tests) with revisions or rounds to  achieve objectives and basic operational performance and compliance.

Stage 5.  Deployment & Testing - Validation  Testing to ensure objectives have been met and reliable compliance with customer requirements.  Focus Testing / extreme use analysis, trouble-shooting. (ECO's) Review and Approval Meeting.

Stage 6. Documentation 3D documentation and required 2D drawings for prototype and production manufacturing, tooling and assembly review.
