CAD Development Process (SDP)

The process of CAD, Computer Aided Design leading to prototypes and manufacturing starts with teaming up with WhiteLight Design including access to the computing power controlled by 15-25 years of working knowledge of 3D CAD and product systems engineering. It all comes down to the 3D model data and translation of the CAD files (.asm, .prt, .stp or .igs) throughout the entire development a process.  Virtual solid CAD modeling linked to CAE Computer Aided Engineering for predictive simulation analysis (FEA, Mold Flow, Structural, Thermodynamic analysis) or CAM, Computer Aided Manufacturing and CNC Computer Numerical Controlled Machining create a seamless flow from art to part. The 3D CAD Development process of building virtual model part assembly data which easily translates throughout the whole process, all comes back to leadership and the skilled trades of the blacksmith and chemistry and the Machine Operators knowledge of the metal  crafts, plastics, composites, materials and mastering CAD technology.  See CAD 3D Development Process
